Aia the Barbarian

Aia the Barbarian

Standalone tales of gods, steel, and survival

Aia the Barbarian is a sword-and-sorcery fantasy series inspired by the traditions of Conan and Red Sonja.

Each novel is a standalone adventure, set in a brutal ancient world where gods walk among mortals, civilizations rise and fall, and survival is never guaranteed.

These are stories of strength, defiance, and hard-won honor — told through the eyes of a warrior who refuses to submit to fate.

About the Series

The world of Aia the Barbarian is one of iron, fire, and forgotten gods.

Empires clash. Cities burn. Divine powers intervene — sometimes openly, sometimes from the shadows. In this unforgiving landscape, Aia fights not for glory, but for survival, justice, and the right to define her own destiny.

Each novel stands alone, exploring a different conflict, myth, or historical moment within the same savage world.

The Stories

Aia the Barbarian

When Aia’s true love is killed in battle, she is left without honor or standing among her people.

As she resigns herself to a life of disgrace, a god is cast out of the heavens and strikes the earth in a massive fireball. Drawn by wonder and desperation, Aia rides into the lands of the gods, seeking power for the war to come.

But a ruthless barbarian king and a dark sorcerer also seek the fallen god’s power — and they intend to use it to destroy everything Aia holds dear.

Curse of Athena

After the Persian army annihilates the Spartan defenders and burns Athens to the ground, Aia watches from the Acropolis as her world collapses.

In the aftermath of destruction, she embarks on a perilous quest to recover a sacred olive tree — a symbol of the gods and the soul of Athens itself. To succeed, Aia must confront ancient curses, divine wrath, and the consequences of human pride.
